The ABB 200-TB3 is a modular terminal base unit designed for the S800 distributed I/O system, serving as the physical interface between field wiring and I/O modules within ABB AC800M and Advant OCS control platforms. The 200-TB3 functions as the mounting foundation for S800 I/O modules, providing a structured termination point for 2-wire and 3-wire field devices while simultaneously distributing power to connected sensors. Unlike standalone terminal blocks that require separate power distribution wiring, the ABB 200-TB3 integrates signal, common, and power connections into a single organized component.

The 200-TB3 features a distinctive three-row screw terminal architecture that eliminates the need for external terminal strips and power distribution blocks within the control cabinet. The upper row provides 16 terminals for individual input/output signals, the middle row offers 18 internally connected 0V DC terminals, and the lower row supplies 18 internally connected +24V DC terminals for sensor power.
