The 240-1CA00 is a point-to-point communication processor from VIPA‘s System 200V series. As a CP 240 module, it provides RS422/RS485 serial communication capability for VIPA PLC systems, enabling data exchange between controllers, HMIs, drives, and peripheral devices via standard industrial protocols. Note that this module is now offered only when essential, with the 240-1CA20 serving as the recommended replacement.
