The Bently Nevada 3300/01​ is the System Monitor module — the rack interface card — of the Bently Nevada 3300 Machinery Protection System. It occupies the second rack position, immediately next to the power supply, and performs the common functions that every other monitor in the rack depends on: Keyphasor signal conditioning and distribution, alarm setpoint adjustment, alarm acknowledgement, rack inhibit, trip multiply, system reset, and the connection point for external communications processors.

It is not a measurement channel in the conventional sense; it is the module that makes the other channels coherent. The 3300/01​ accepts up to two Keyphasor proximity probe inputs, powers and conditions them, and distributes the phase reference across the backplane so that vibration monitors can calculate 1X amplitude and phase. It carries buffered Keyphasor outputs on its front panel for portable diagnostic instruments, and it can be fitted with an optional Serial Data Interface to deliver rack data to a DCS or PLC over Modbus or Allen-Bradley DF1.
